Semper Fidelis is the motto of the United States Marine Corp. Commonly shortened to Semper Fi, it means "Always Faithful" in Latin. This bronze sculpture urn is an artist depiction of their symbol: the eagle, the globe, and the anchor. The eagle represents the United States, the globe represents their worldwide presence, and the anchor is to honor their naval heritage.
