Shaker Wooden Urn: Cherry w/ Reeded Ball
These outstanding wood urns of shaker design and craftsmanship are faithful to techniques that date back to the late 1700's. The solid cherry wood urns are hand-crafted by boiling, bending and fastening the wood with wooden pegs and copper tacks. No glue is used. The hand-carved finial alone takes hours to carve then rubbed with a special formula of bee's wax, linseed oil and varnish. Each urn is lined with a precision inner enclosure of stainless steel. It comes delivered to you in a soft, double-piled flannel bag. Available immediately for overnight shipping.
Choose from six finial styles (shown below): Reeded Point, Rope, Pinecone, Acorn, Reeded Ball and Pineapple.
Available in two sizes: Solo or Double.
Solo is has 250 cubic inches of capacity (enough for a single adult) and measures 11.25" tall x 6.375" wide
Double has 325 cubic inches of space (enough for two adults) and 325 cubic inches 12.75" tall x 7" wide
