Originally my locket arrived without instructions and was damaged when I tried to open it. If you happen to receive one without instructions, make sure you find out how to open it before trying too hard. Customer service was very prompt and helpful and immediately remedied the situation for me. Now I have a functioning beautiful locket and I am very happy with the quality. It was "fatter" than I expected but that was just my own expectation, no fault of the seller. I'm very happy with the product and the company and would do business here again without hesitation. Also, shipping was very fast.

Memorial Jewelry: Glass Heart Victorian Locket
This handmade Glass Victorian Heart Locket is set in sterling silver and holds a small amount of ashes, sand from a favorite beach, a lock of hair or other memorial items. A screw closure under the bale keeps the memorial secure. This beautiful memorial jewelry urn jewelry can also hold two photos. The slight curvature of the glass magnifies the image a bit and makes it visible from a broad angle.
Dimensions: 3/4 in x 7/8 in high (glass pendant itself)
Victorian Locket Filling Instructions
You can choose to put back-to-back photos, a precious lock of hair, or the ashes of your loved one inside.
Directions for filling and sealing are as follows:
• Open the locket by unscrewing the lower nut and lay the pendant on a flat surface so that both glass sides are facing up.
• If filling with ashes, you can choose to apply sealant (it will dry clear) to the face of the inside glass where you want to view the ashes and dust with the finest of ash. Alternately, you can spoon a small amount of ashes in the middle, being careful not to get any on the rim.
• If filling with a lock of hair, we’ve found that twisting the hair into an infinity sign or number 8 looks elegant and timeless.
• Using a toothpick or cotton swab, squeeze some permanent sealant onto the implement and spread onto the pendant’s inside rim.
• Close and hold firmly for 20 seconds.
• Shake to confirm no ashes leak out. If ashes do leak out, apply sealant to the edge allowing the sealant to seep in. Use nail polish remover to remove any smudges from the sterling.
Can be filled with ashes, a lock of hair or other memorabilia.
