A harmony of materials and artistic inspiration come together to create these unique wood urns. Beginning with a piece of solid hardwood burl, each piece is lathe turned to best reveal the character of the wood. The artist then applies layers of complementary acrylic and real gold leaf. Finally the piece is stained and multiple layers of clear coat are applied to provide a beautiful and durable luster. Each wood urn is a one-of-a-kind original gallery quality work of fine art.
