Mounted on an iron turn-table the prayer wheel spins smoothly, silently and beautifully with a gentle push of your hand. Colored oxides painted over the clay--and sealed permanently to the surface by kiln firing the vessel to 2300 degrees fahrenheit--give the vessel its earthy colors. Leaf-decorated lid can be removed to place cremation ashes, mementos, or written prayers inside.
